My 6 year old loved this costume. She is short, so the robe came down to her feet. It’s very light weight, nylon or something similar, with the house badge printed on. The glasses look perfect on her. The wand was fun to wave around, but also the first thing she misplaced. A wand pocket would have been nice, or at least a wristband.

I bought this Harry Potter costume for my son for Halloween this year and got a great deal on it. If I bought the same items at our neighborhood Halloween Store it would have cost me close to $50. He wears it all the time and is looking forward to Halloween!! Great Deal!!

This costume is way over priced for what it is. Cheap flimsy mateial, with a very odd clasp that his extremely difficult to manuver and does not hold together, Printed on emblam, At most this costume should cost $12 bucks. Dont waste your money spend the xtra 5 bucks and get the Deluxe Robe.

Material is flimsy, and the clasp keeps falling off. Overall, the robe is made poorly. I would suggest spending a few more dollars and get the fleece alternative.

This hat is priced very affordably, so I was surprised by its excellent quality and durability when it arrived! This is a great gift for Harry Potter fans – the fabric is wonderful and it looks just like the hat in the movies. The fit is good for medium-sized kids through smaller-sized adults.

I ordered this hat for myself since I have a small head. It was too small for my jr. high student. Very cute but definitely for a late elementary schooler.

4 Stars A good “economy” robe, and pretty convincing!
This robe is a great option for people wanting “real” Harry Potter merchandise/costume stuff but not for a lot of money. Though the robe isn’t the highest quality piece of craftsmanship (many loose threads and such), the details are accurate enough to create a convincing Harry Potter costume. Personally, I used it to be a student from Ravenclaw for Halloween and just covered up the burgundy hood lining and Gryffindor patch with a blue and silver scarf, and it worked just fine. I would recommend this robe to anyone looking to complete a Harry Potter (or any Hogwarts) look without spending a ton of money.

First of all, the robes in the movies are pure black so I don’t recommend a colored one in the first place. But if you do get a red hooded one, this one is definitely purple. Gryffindor colors are gold and red.
